How lower your blood pressure.   My husband has high blood pressure and we were looking for something that would relax him and help him sleep. I use this on his back, his legs and feet before he goes to sleep and he sleeps soundly. H. . .   Amazing!   I had knots all over my back and was in search for a massage gun. The price caught me off guard compared to other prices but since my knots were getting worse and worse I decided to put the hole in my. . .   Massage therapy, by yourself!   Amazing equipment, all expectations exceeded. The only thing I would change is make the handle more ergonomic. Unless your hand is size XL and bigger, it is rather difficult to hold. Also finger mould. . .   Say goodbye to muscle fatigue.   Get rid of muscle knots and loosen up. It’s amazing what you can do with your full range of motion.   Good vibes every day.   Optimize your workouts.   The best use the best.   There’s a reason the pros are the pros. They know how to treat their bodies right and you should too.   There’s an app for that.   Hit all the right muscles and master the timing and intensity of your sessions with guided routines in the Hyperice App.   Do what you love. More.   At work or working from home, at the gym, or trailside on your run, Hypervolt helps you move better and do more.

I recommend it to everyone who is having muscle issues or pain due to soreness or minor injury.  It gradually loosened up the tightness, pain, and soreness I had using it for two week from pulling my lower back muscle. Using the Hyperice app was useful in hitting every muscle on and around my lower back.  I can see this being used to help save on less chiropractic and muscle therapy appointments.   Owned for 1 week when reviewed.   Expensive but hopefully it will last. I saw so many reviews of similar devices that say they broke within a week. Even heard there were places selling knock offs as Hyperice products.  The only problem I had so far was the battery wasn’t fully installed and the device would shut down a few seconds after turning it on. Make sure the battery lock is fully engaged.   Also haven’t found much use for the Bluetooth functions.   Owned for 1 week when reviewed.   I am massage therapist and work with professional athletes. And I can say this powerful percussion tool is must have for the therapists like me. It saves a lot of time and my hands!   .   I have owned a couple of massage wands in the past but they were corded and portable, so not very convenient. I’ve been looking for a cordless alternative and was so pleased to find Hyperice’s Hypervolt 2 Pro. Hyperice offers various models but Hypervolt 2 Pro is a premium model that is intended for athletic people – I’m not one of them but my husband and I have chronic back pains, so we needed something robust. This one definitely fits the bill! We have been using it for a little over week now and can definitely tell this massage gun is not an ordinary massage device. It significantly reduces the pain and unties the kinks – we experienced a relief right away. The device is weighty at 2.6 lbs., so it took me a little of getting used to holding it in a right position comfortably. I tried all five different attachments and liked the cushion one the best. Make sure you don’t get your fingers caught between the attachment and the device while its in operation. My husband accidentally did this – no serious injury but he was in agonizing pain for a couple of minutes. Although there are five different speeds, the lowest one is plenty powerful enough for me but it’s nice to have that flexibility to go up higher as needed. If anyone is not completely sold on this, I saw some Hyperice’s massage guns in the dugout during the recent World Series, so that may say something notable about this product. My husband and I are very pleased with Hypervolt 2 Pro. This will make a very nice gift for yourself and/or your loved ones. Highly recommended!   .   I’m a huge fan of these massagers for both after workout activities as well general muscle pains. I have some lower leg pains every once in awhile and this massager works great for relieving pain and stiffness. I’ve been using a Theragun however this Hyperice massager works really nice compared to my older massage gun. The Hyperice massager works great compared to the Theragun.   In terms of feel, I think the Theragun wins here. While it’s a weird looking shape, it feels a bit better in the hand. Especially when trying to use the massager on your back, the Theragun design seems to workout better in that sense. Overall though, the Hyperice feels great in the hand too. The grip on it is smooth and provides ample stability when using it.   Probably the biggest improvement here is the noise. The Theragun sounds like an old motor clacking away. Decibel-wise, the Theragun is around 80 decibels. The Hyperice, is significantly quieter at around 60-70 decibels. The motor in the Hyperice seems to run a lot smoother compared to the Theragun. It does get a little jittery when you use it on max settings but I usually use it on the 1 or 2 setting so it’s really not an issue for me.   The Hyperice comes with the AC adapter, 5 massage heads along with a small case to carry them in, as well as international charging plugs which is nice. I really wish the Hyperice came with a carrying case like the Theragun does. I almost would’ve preferred a case over the plugs but that’s my opinion.   The Hyperice is rechargeable but the Theragun came with 2 batteries and a charger which worked better for me. It was nice to have a spare battery on hand to quickly resume use whereas, with the Hyperice, you have to wait until it’s charged before using it.   For now though, I’ll use the Theragun until it ceases working. But this Hyperice is a really nice upgrade to it It’s lacking a carrying case and battery options but the performance of this, I think, it far superior to the Theragun. It simply works just as good, if not better, and is MUCH quieter than the Theragun which is a huge bonus IMO.   .   This is a must have tool for self care and self maintenance for athletes and non athletes alike. The Hypervolt 2 Pro is a handheld machine that has changed the way I train and perform on the athletic field.  This handheld massage gun weighs about 2.6 pounds, and has a 90W motor that can vary between 5 speeds to suit your needs. The massage gun is easy to use and easy to maneuver across your own body or assisting with someone else’s muscles. Portability is ideal with a tool like this in order to keep it with you on site at the athletic event or in home use. This is a device that is TSA approved for carry on so you can feel comfortable traveling with it as an athlete as well. The Hypervolt 2 Pro comes with 5 head attachments such as flat, bullet, fork, cushion, and ball so that you can utilize these accordingly for different muscle areas. There is also an app associated with this that can help guide you on the best way to utilize it for different muscles and regions of your body for maximum efficiency. Very helpful aid in order to loosen up, recover, and wind down. The massage gun looks nice and looks very high end and premium. If you travel internationally you also will get multiple adapters for electrical outlets in order to keep your massage gun charged all over the world. Battery life can run for up to 3 hours based on how you use it.  I have been using this as a runner for fitness purposes to help loosen up for a run, and also after a workout in order to help with muscle recovery. Also sitting at an office desk all day, this is a great aid to help loosen up upper back and arms as well. I feel this is a physical aid tool meant for anyone looking to maintain overall wellness on the go and in the convenience of your home.  PRO: Handheld Powerful Premium looks App for optimum self maintenance Quiet  CON: Premium price.   .   The true successor to the Hypervolt line features Bluetooth as well as a near completely overhauled design. The new device is about a half an inch taller but an inch less wide. It still sports a high quality feeling soft touch coating. The handle is now pill shaped with grooves for grip compared to the smooth round handle from before. It’s still detachable from the body of the unit for on the fly switching. The site lists the previous model as heavier but I weighed the new one at 2.7lb and the old at 2.6lb. Build quality is excellent, this isn’t your typical Costco percussive massager. It doesn’t flex, creak or rattle. When it comes to loudness, the new model is slightly quieter and sounds smoother throughout the power range, but I wouldn’t say it’s a huge difference. There are now 5 power settings are controlled by a dial now vs 3 still coming from a 90w brushless motor. Stroke length seems pretty similar but I haven’t measured; 13mm vs probably 14-15. The pressure sensor is back, which might be a minor detail, but I think is one of the coolest things they do. The battery was 2400mAh for 2.5+ hours of use, now it’s rated to 3 hours but there’s no mention of size besides it’s physical change. I’m going to assume it’s bigger but not by much, or if anything they just made the device more efficient. In the box you still get a variety of heads – flat, fingertip, mushroom, ball and U shaped. The charge also looks a lot nicer and still comes with travel plugs. Still TSA approved too! Unfortunately still no case for the unit, which I think is a huge miss for a $400 massager; though you do get a case for the heads.  I haven’t got to use it much yet but it seems like a nice upgrade, but probably not a must have if you’ve already got the Plus from before($329 now). Maybe if you were looking to upgrade from the normal model to this, it would be more worth it. Hypervolts have become my favorite massagers because they’re compact, quiet AND powerful. Yes, there is a difference between cheap and expensive guns. If you’re okay with the cheaper one, great, but not all are made equal.   Hi Joel! Great to hear that you are loving the new Hypervolt 2 Pro! We love it too!   .   This is our second percussion therapy device. We started out getting one of those popular, well-reviewed “budget” models with a bazillion attachments because we honestly didn’t know how much we would like it, or how effective it would be. In general, we liked what we saw, but there were some things about the budget version that just felt a little “off”–build quality was suspect in some areas (the battery pack never did sit firmly in the housing) and some of the attachments were foam that started to gather fuzz and fabric debris and even break down a bit after moderate use. So we upped our game a with the Hypervolt 2 Pro, and though it might seem like there is a little less to love, the overall therapy experience with the Hypervolt 2 Pro was FAR more compelling and effective.  Let’s start with the obvious–lay out all the swag you get with a competitor’s model and you’ll see that the Hypervolt 2 Pro doesn’t seem to offer much–just 5 massage heads/tips and a small carrying case for them; the case isn’t even large enough to house the AC adapter or the interchangeable travel plug adapters! There is no carrying case or even a simple storage pouch for the main unit as well…that feels like a missed opportunity given the price point for this model. Flip it over and check out the controls–a single speed dial on the Hypervolt 2 Pro with only 5 speed settings/LED speed markers and one BT LED display versus 30 intensity settings on fancy numerical LCD display on the competitor’s model…what’s going on here?   But once we put the Hyperice model into use, we changed our tune. If you need POWERFUL deep-tissue and muscle massage action, the Hypervolt 2 Pro simply offers MORE…more power and a deeper stroke/percussion action that runs circles around the budget alternative from the lowest setting all the way up to the highest. Sure, there are only 5 speed options to pick from here; but frankly, the 30 speed options on the competitor’s model ultimately felt unnecessary as the qualitative difference of a 24 versus a 27 speed setting were essentially meaningless on the skin, especially if you still needed a better, more effective massage in the long run (who doesn’t?). The Hypervolt 2 Pro is also a VERY high-quality feeling product; fit and finish are outstanding and provide you some assurance that you’re getting a more durable and well-engineered product for your money. The 3-hour battery pack is removable for separate storage or charging away from the main unit I suppose; but more importantly, a removable battery pack means your entire massage gun isn’t scrap once the battery stops holding a charge as you can ostensibly purchase a new battery pack (or at least have a second on tap for longer therapy sessions or more days between charges). The light-up ring around the bottom of the battery pack/handle changes color to indicate charge/battery level and makes it perfectly clear when the unit is accidentally left on or needs a bit more juice to keep going.  Okay, but what about the attachments? As I indicated earlier, some of the numerous attachments on the budget model are foam rather than rubber or plastic and have already started to break down or pill up with material from t-shirts and shorts; the Hypervolt 2 Pro’s attachments are all high quality rubber or rubberized material and certainly feel like they will stand up to a lot more punishment and repeated cleaning over time. As for the low number of attachments, frankly, it’s a lot easier to remember which attachment is for what body part when there is only a handful to keep track of, and when we used the budget model, we typically only reached for one or two attachment heads anyway. But if you’re really concerned about not having that ONE special wedge-shaped, spiky, or ball-headed attachment, you might just consider getting an extra set of attachments online; then you’ll get the benefits of a MUCH better massage gun with all the attachments you might want or need (for the record, all the attachments in our budget do-it-all package fit the Hypervolt 2 Pro just fine).  The Hypervolt 2 Pro then goes things a bit better–it’s a “somewhat” smart device with Bluetooth capability. No, you can’t use Alexa to start a massage routine or program therapy session duration from the unit itself (there’s only a power switch on the bottom and a rotary speed dial on the back, after all), but with the Hyperice app and a BT connection to your phone, you can run automated programs of varying times and intensities all while a helpful video shows you exactly what head to use, where to hold the massage gun, and how to get optimal results with hand movements and massage tip/head-angles during the entire routine. At first I was a little skeptical about the BT speed control and app, but being able to adjust the speed settings from my phone one-handed meant I didn’t have to remove the massage gun from my skin mid-session to adjust the speed setting; this was a godsend when I had the gun’s angle and pressure JUST right but wanted to get a bit more intensity going. The app itself gives you a little body graphic to choose various muscle groups for routine selection; not every muscle group has routines for the picking just yet, but most do, and the thought of not having to figure out the best combination of tips, angles, timing, speed settings, and muscle group coverage is really quite appealing and effective in practice.  Overall, we were more than pleasantly surprised at how much we liked the Hypervolt 2 Pro’s performance and capabilities, even if it seems on the surface like this unit might offer fewer options than the competition can swing at a lower price point. But in this case, I heartily concur that you get what you pay for–the quality of the unit, the increased power, speed, and percussive stroke, as well as the integrated BT app and speed control ultimately make for much more effective, flexible, and enjoyable massage therapy than what a cut-rate competitor can muster; DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED if you want the best and most therapeutic percussion massage treatment you can get your hands on!   Ask a Question See All Questions.   Q: Question I’ve had this device since Black Friday haven’t used it a lot but not enough. Read our disclosures.   It wasn’t too long ago that the only people who knew of percussion massagers were those who worked in physical therapy and chiropractic work that used heavy, expensive, plug-into-the-wall units. Although these are still available and work extremely well, they’re not very practical for the typical consumer. Fortunately, brands like Therabody and Hypervolt burst onto the scene to make user-friendly massage tools we can keep in our own homes. .   I got the Hypervolt Hyperice in 2018, and I still believe it is one of the best massage guns available on the market today. Despite substantial use, I still use this in my garage gym. In my Hyperice Hypervolt review, I’ll go over the multiple attachments that are easy to interchange, the long-lasting battery, and, most importantly, one of the quietest motors we’ve used. .   This isn’t the first time you’ve seen us discuss massage guns. My team and I have reviewed a number of products and even showed you how to create your own DIY massage gun. We have used dozens of these tools and know how to evaluate percussions per minute, massage depth and ergonomics.   I used the Hypervolt on sore muscles both before and after training. I made sure to test the different speeds and even compare it to other guns in terms of how loud (or, in this case, how quiet) the Hypervolt is. Staff writer Amanda Capritto has also tested another in the Hypervolt line, the Hypervolt Go, which sits on our list of best massage guns. .   Hyperice Hypervolt 2.   There are a LOT of massage guns out there. In fact, expert product testers at Garage Gym Reviews have reviewed and covered nearly 50 among our various massage gun guides, reviews, and comparisons. Hypervolt is one of the better known names in the workout recovery arena–it’s up there with Theragun. (We even published a Hypervolt vs. Theragun in-depth comparison because both are so popular.)The Hypervolt 2 is Hyperice’s base model percussive massage gun, and it features a lot of upgrades over the original Hypervolt. It’s lightweight at 1.8 pounds and Bluetooth-enabled, for example. With three speeds of percussion and five interchangeable massage head attachments, the Hypervolt 2 is more than sufficient for the average fitness enthusiast or home gym owner. It’s not the most powerful massage gun, and our team isn’t thrilled at the fact that Hyperice doesn’t publish certain specifications, but in our testing, it’s clear that the Hypervolt 2 is one of the better options with enough power and versatility for most people.RELATED: Best Massage Guns.   Hyperice has an entire line of recovery tools, including vibrating foam rollers and air compression boots. The Hypervolt is the first generation in the brand’s percussive therapy line (there are five such products). .   Coop’s Tips.   If you want an even more travel-friendly massage gun, check out the Hypervolt Go .   Pros.   Is the Hyperice Hypervolt Worth It?   When the Hypervolt came onto the market, there weren’t many other massage tools like it: light, quiet, powerful. Now, there are tons of options out there, though many fail to capture all three of those features. .   After three-plus years of using the Hypervolt, I still find that it works quite well. Therefore, I believe it’s one of the better options out there at this price point, which is around $250. That’s about mid-range, maybe a little higher, when it comes to quality massage guns. .   Great for:.   People seeking a massage gun with a good battery life.   There are six products in the Hypervolt line: The OG Hypervolt, the Hypervolt 2, the Hypervolt 2 Pro, the Hypervolt Go , the Hypervolt Go 2, and the Hypervolt Plus.   As of this writing, only three are available for purchase on the Hyperice website: The Hypervolt 2, Hypervolt 2 Pro, and Hypervolt Go 2. If you want any of the other three, you’ll have to find them on a third-party retailer site such as Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, or REI.   Using the Hyperice Hypervolt .   The Hypervolt looks like a professional tool. Its sleek black-and-silver build along with the fit and function look like a Gen5 product, not a first iteration (the ensuing models, like the Hypervolt Go and Hypervolt Plus, are also attractive). .   After using the Hypervolt for more than three years, I can say with confidence that Hyperice absolutely hit it out of the park with this one.   One feature I love is that not only does it have multiple speed options, but it doesn’t require you to hold a trigger. You simply press the power button on the back of the device and it’s ready for use. If you want more power, you press the button again. It’s that simple. On top of that, the Hyperice has an LED light system on the back of the unit to display exactly what speed you are at.   At its max speed, the Hyperice can deliver up to 3,200 percussions per minute. It definitely does feel different from the jigsaw counterparts. Rather than a hard percussion, it’s more of a vibration, which I and the people I’ve used it on have actually preferred. .   For reference, the Theragun Pro produces 2,400 percussions per minute, quite a bit less than the Hyperice, which is why the Hyperice feels more like a vibration than percussion.   Every Hypervolt comes with multiple attachments to interchange. When I got the Hypervolt, it only had four attachments: ball, a flat-head, a bullet, and a fork-shaped head attachment. Hyperice has now added a fifth option, which they call “cushion,” which looks like several of the flat-head options stacked on top of each other.   These attachments are all very easy to interchange. When first using an attachment, simply push the attachment opening allotted for the different heads. If you are wanting to change from the flat-head to the ball attachment, simply pull out the flat head and push the ball in. This process is super easy and convenient.   While the ball head is made of a hard foam, each of the other attachments is constructed of a hard plastic. .   Noise.   Although all of these features are great, far and away the biggest benefit for the Hypervolt is that it is unbelievably quieter than its jigsaw competitors. Hyperice leans on their “QuietGlide” technology for that, which literally allows you to carry on a conversation while massaging. That’s not just a marketing phrase, it actually works in that way.   Battery Life.   The battery used for the Hyperice is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, similar but quite a bit larger than what is found in your phone. The specific battery for the Hyperice allows a person up to two hours of use (the Hypervolt 2 can last up to three hours). You use the included adapter to charge the battery, which takes less than six hours. .   It’s worth noting here that on Amazon, the battery life is marked for three hours, but on the Hyperice website, the battery life is said to be just two hours. In our experience, we did get almost three hours out of the battery. .   A cool aspect of the Hypervolt line is the battery life display. Although it isn’t as precise as what your phone shows, the four LED lights are more than enough to decide when to put the Hypervolt on the charger. The Hypervolt has four green lights and one red light. .   Once the switch of the device is turned on, the battery lights on the back of the gun turn. There is also a light ring on the bottom of the grip that glows green when the device is turned on. The green lights fade away as the battery power becomes lower.   Traveling With the Hypervolt.   The original Hypervolt is relatively light, weighing in at 2.5 pounds. It’s light enough to be able to use on yourself with one hand, but substantial enough that you don’t feel like you’re able to push against it with much force. .   The entire Hypervolt line is TSA-approved for carry-on. However, if you really want a small massage device that packs the power and quietness of the Hypervolt, we actually like the Hypervolt Go best. .   From an ergonomics standpoint, the Hypervolt is built pretty similarly to other cordless massage guns in that it looks like an actual gun or a drill. The grip portion of the device features a rubber coating, which does help in terms of keeping the Hypervolt locked into your hand. Also, it’s nice that it’s such a light product, because the last thing you want when treating sore muscles is to create another sore muscle. .   Technology Benefits and Conveniences.   In the fall of 2020, Hyperice launched an app. There are some pretty cool tools in there, like guided warmups and recovery routines. It can also sync to many of the brand’s devices–including the Hypervolt–using Bluetooth. Doing so gives you a few benefits:.   A “HyperSmart Score” to let you know if you are matching your usage to your activity levels.   The original Hypervolt was not Bluetooth-enabled, but now, every product in the line except for the Hypervolt Go has the capability to connect to the app.   Even though I love the Hyperice Hypervolt, there are some things that would be a great addition to the device. For example, it doesn’t have a rotating head the way devices like the Theragun Pro and TimTam have.   Also, the Hypervolt doesn’t have a carrying case for the entire unit. It only has a pouch for the attachments. .   Finally, producing the Hyperice with multiple color options would take it to the next level. I love the classic gray-and-black look, but I would also like to have other options when making a purchase.   Theragun might be one of the most recognized names in percussive therapy. We have used Theragun Prime extensively and believe it is one of the best massage guns out there. It is about $50 more expensive than the Hypervolt (and priced the same as the Hypervolt Plus).   Theragun Prime shines in its ergonomic, triangle-shaped handle, as well as its multitude of speed options (if you use the app, you can choose any speed between 1,750 and 2,400 percussions per minute). While Theragun claims to be quiet, we don’t think it’s nearly as quiet as the Hypervolt. Also, the Hypervolt offers five attachments, whereas the Theragun only offers four. .   If noise or price is an issue, then Hypervolt is the way to go. Otherwise, we can’t argue with how great the Theragun Prime is. Read our full Theragun review covering all four models, and our in-depth Hypervolt vs. Theragun comparison .   All the Hypervolt items come with a one-year warranty, which is pretty standard for top-tier massage guns (though some, like the REP Fitness Rapidstrike , offer an 18-month warranty).   The return policy for the Hypervolt (as well as other products from Hyperice) is standard: You have 30 days from the time you receive the massage gun to initiate the return. You are responsible for shipping costs.   Customer Reviews.   They Hypervolt has a whopping 4.8/5 stars on Amazon reviews (there are no reviews on the Hypervolt website). We especially enjoy the review from “Tech Daddy” who also owns a Theragun:.   There is just one one-star review on Amazon from a buyer who says the product was defective; another good reminder to buy directly from the brand when you can.   Final Verdict of Our Hyperice Hypervolt Review.   Overall, the Hyperice by Hypervolt is one of the best options when looking at different massage guns available on the market today. With its multiple speed options, five different head attachments, and great price point, we highly recommend the Hypervolt.   HyperIce Hypervolt.   The Hypervolt Hyperice is the best price point option for massage guns available on the market today. The device is equipped with multiple attachments that are user-friendly to interchange, a long-lasting battery, three different speed options, and most importantly the quietest motor we’ve used. The Hypervolt is the best portable massage gun currently available.   Is the Hyperice Hypervolt worth it?   Priced around $250, the Hypervolt is not quite as expensive as the super high-end massage guns, but it certainly isn’t dirt cheap. We do believe that this is one of the best percussive massage tools on the market. After using it for the past three years, it continues to perform well. It has a great battery life, up to 3200 percussions per minute, and five interchangeable head attachments.   What is Hyperice good for?   Hyperice is known for making high-quality recovery tools of all kinds. We use the Hypervolt (one of the brand’s massage guns) to target sore muscle groups all over; glutes, hamstrings, quads, trigger points in the back, and more. This alleviates muscle soreness and can also be used before working out to loosen tight muscles.   Is the Hypervolt Plus better than Theragun?   This really comes down to which Theragun you’re looking at. The Hypervolt Plus costs around $300, which is the baseline price for the first iteration of Theragun. We love the Hypervolt line for its price point and performance, though we believe the Theragun Prime to be one of the best massage guns on the market. Do your research and evaluate things like speed options, battery life and price.   Does Vibration Therapy Work?   I don’t think it’s enough to say, “I feel good after I use a massage gun.” Should you use it if it does that? Sure, feeling good is important, but I don’t think it’s enough to say it works.   In a study “ To Compare the Effect of Vibration Therapy and Massage in Prevention of Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) ” the result was that muscle soreness was reported to be significantly less for experimental (vibration and massage) group (p=0.000) as compared to control group at 24, 48, and 72 hours of post-exercise.   For me, this, coupled with the fact that I feel great after using massage guns, is enough to continue their use until proven otherwise.   Coop.   Cooper is a graduate of Missouri State University with a degree in Finance. I can honestly say, do I even need to go get massages anymore?? My favorite way to use this is on my neck and shoulders where I always hold a ton of stress and tension. The gun comes with a variety of heads and there is one for pressure points, and it feels heavenly on my tight neck and shoulders. It takes a little time to get used how and where to use. I will say it helps if you have someone to use it on you because it’s pretty heavy!   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing, high powered massage gun! We got it for my son who plays sports. It is now a family item we fight over. We like the variety of attachments . I also like the different plug options, in case we travel overseas.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hyperice Hypervolt 2 pro is the holy grail of massagers! I use to multiple times a day and Everytime feels like the first time. I love how it comes with different heads so I can focus on different spots on the body without getting the same sensation or an awkward fit. The different intensity settings are perfect, whether you like the massage a little gentler or really want to put pressure on your muscles, this has it all! The machine is very durable and will last a VERY long time! I highly recommend it to everyone.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This massage gun is amazing!! After my work out this is the first thing I reach for. It has multiple heads to target areas. Its easy to control and not too heavy either. I love that it has different plug adapters as well. Best item out there for a massage gun. Your muscles will thank you later!   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hypervolt 2 Pro is really pretty amazing!!! Upon first using it I was rather intimated by its power even on the lowest setting it really packs a punch but after a couple of minutes I could definitely tell it was serving its purpose and really working out those muscles. My husband has actually found it to be very useful as a mid workout routine.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had another cheaper brand for a massage gun and you cannot even compare the two with each other, honestly. Everything about this one feels so nice and smooth. My chiropractor even uses the same one in his practice!   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the past year, I have been using the Hypervolt Go to help loosen my muscle knots and it has helped so much. I was excited to move up to the Hypervolt 2 Pro to help my stiff muscles. This massage gun is comfortable to hold. I love that this connects to the app, via Bluetooth, for automated speed control because that makes it easy to use this one handed. The digital speed dial makes it easy to see which speed you are on and turns easily to lower or raise the speed. The five headed attachments that are included ensures you are using the right tool to get the job done. I love the routines on the app that use this device. The Hypervolt 2 Pro has quickly become my favorite massage device for my muscles.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had Fibromyalgia for a good portion of my life, I’ve tried many other methods of pain relief with not much success. I’ve had the Hypervolt 2 Pro for about shy of a month, since using this my muscles have significantly felt less tense, sore and haven’t spasmed as much. It can be intimidating upon first use as it looks like the force would hurt more then help, but it is not the case and the attachment heads are mostly made out of a durable silicone. This did come with different attachment heads for use on different muscles groups which is explained on and included card within the instruction booklet.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This massager is simply amazing!! I have a spot of my back that is very bothersome which I have done physical therapy for ams they used something similar to this on it which felt amazing. This is great for Any muscle ache on your back and is so relaxing. I am in love! Is is super easy to use and the fact that it is rexharable is even more awesome! 10/10 would recommend.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thing. Each and every attachment did wonders for my body. This product got out so many of my sore spots and helped my aching muscles. It’s so easy to take out and use. I love how it has multiple speeds because it creates so much versatility for the product. The light up charging indicator makes it easy to understand how charged the product is. The app is also super convenient and really teaches you how to use the product successfully. I also really loved that the charger had different plugs because it makes the item very Travel friendly especially if you’re going out of the country or on a cruise. I couldn’t be happier with this thing. It’s awesome.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this a month ago and I honestly love it. I was wrong!! Honestly, all I can now saw is WOW, I really did not now what we were missing. Weight training has become an integral part of my family’s weekly routines, and my spouse goes pretty hard. There is always the balance between wanting to work hard but not being miserable at work the next day. This percussion gun really has helped in even those aspects. It has facilitated relief, especially in the thigh area, when it comes to delayed muscle soreness. The Hypervolt is powerful, easy to use, and just works well. Overall, we are really happy with this product.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t say enough good things about this Hypervolt 2! The battery life is incredible, the adjustable intensity is awesome, and it’s so much quieter than the other massage guns on the market! I also find this Hypervolt 2 Pro easy to hold even on the most intense setting, and my wife likes it too. The box makes for excellent storage and the varierty of massage tips makes this Hypervolt 2 Pro customizable to different body parts and different body types. I am a physical therapist and use massage guns in the clinic all the time, and I plan to use this Hypervolt 2 Pro at home and in the office! I had a muscle in my leg that was sore from a bit too much hiking and it felt so good to massage it. By the end of that day it was feeling immediately better and was able to get me back on the go. As soon as you open this up you can see that it is really well made. It has adapters for many different areas of the body and they are really simple to replace. It even came with some different wall adapters to charge in different countries which is always nice. It is super strong as well. When the lowest setting you can feel the power. I can’t imagine needing anything stronger. Everything works right out of the box and is so easy to use. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a massage gun.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hypervolt is easily one of the best purchases I have made recently. I have been upping the amount that I have been training and feel like I was in a perpetual state of soreness over the last few weeks. Adding the hypervolt into my recovery has been a game changer. My knots are being worked out quickly and efficiently, it takes less time for me to be ready to hit the ground running, and it’s also a fun way to cause pain to your friends at the gym while still helping them be the best versions of the athletes they are. 10/10 would recommend.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I truly am impressed with the overall quality, durability, and functionality of this percussion massager. I tend to suffer from sore and stiff muscles so I’ve tried several products to help loosen muscles and I am blown away by how well this massager works in comparison to others I have tried. Hands down the best product out there. This massage gun is made with excellent quality, it’s extremely durable, and works well to loosen sore muscles. I am amazed by the power of this massage gun. It easily penetrates the deep muscles leaving them relaxed, revived, less sore, and more flexible. This massager is lightweight and offers a rechargeable battery making it cord free which is an excellent bonus when you are using it. It comes with 5 attachments (fork, ball, cushion, flat, bullet). I highly recommend this product because it works so well and because it will not disappoint.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been experiencing pain after work out on my arm for almost every time , and I use those icy patch which works for hours or so and it stop, with this massager ive been using it for about 2 weeks and slowly my arm are not sore and the pains are gone. The Hypervolt 2 Pro massage gun is one of the 2 newly released devices from Hyperice. If you didn’t know already, the “2” in the name means that the product is an update of the original Hypervolt Plus.   The Plus was on the market for a full year and was the most powerful Hyperce massage gun. It was built for pro athletes and demanding users who need a more aggressive massage.   We praised the Plus in our review because it had good performance specs – we just had a problem with how pricey it was. But here comes the successor!   Well, in this post we’ll answer all these questions. We will also make a chart to compare the original Hypervolt Plus to this new device.   Bluetooth and App.   What is Included?   Hyperice knows how to make a good first impression. The packaging is well designed, with the device placed inside in an interesting, and perhaps a bit unconventional way. Unboxing the new Hypervolt has been a pleasure.   There is still no carrying case included, however. Very disappointing we have to say because, after all, this is their top of the shelf device. At this point we don’t know what it’s gonna take for Hyperice to include one – maybe a presidential intervention? Anyway, there is a pouch for attachments just like what we had with the Hypervolt 2 . .   There is a wall charger included with some international plugs. There are the usual cards with information such as an attachment choosing guide, a quick-start guide, information about their app, customer service information, and an instructional manual.   When recently did a Hypervolt 2 review , and when we first unboxed the device, we could immediately tell that it was different from the original Hypervolt . The color was different (Slate Gray), and the device felt smaller and lighter as well – something new at last!   We didn’t get the same immediate feeling with the Hypervolt 2 Pro . In fact, the device looks about the same size as the Hypervolt Plus, just slightly lighter.   Visually it’s very much the same thing as the Plus – the housing design hasn’t changed much and it’s still mostly black. It has the same T-shape configuration as well.   But wait a minute….   When you take the device into your hand, things begin to unravel. Like magic, notable differences begin to appear.   For instance, the handle has been redesigned to be more ergonomic than what was on the Hypervolt Plus – we’ll talk more about this in the ergonomics section below.   Other than that, there entire handle is black with a tiny silver section at the bottom – right after the usual LED ring that lights up when the device is plugged in.   The new logo is on the side (slanted H, probably representative of the company’s new direction as a brand – evolving into a “holistic high-performance wellness brand).   The back panel has also changed. But not as much as the main control area. There are no more buttons. Instead we have a dial that you use both to activate the device and change the speed levels.   This feature is only on this device, the Hypervolt 2 has a button. With the dial, you don’t need to go through each speed. You can quickly move through the speeds now by rotating the dial in either direction. The LEDs indicate the speeds at the edge of the panel.   Other LEDs include:.   3 LEDs in the center of the panel for the pressure sensor.   Another LED just below the pressure sensor – the Bluetooth connection indicator.   The signature LED ring on the handle that lights up when the battery is plugged in (red = battery low, green = battery fully charged).   There is also a main switch at the base of the device (next to the charging port). You have to switch this on to activate the device before using the control panel. You can also use it to quickly power off the device as well. There is also a battery release button underneath the main housing.   Our Overall Observation.   The Pro 2 looks similar to the old Plus device. We are guessing Hyperice didn’t want this new device to look very different. After all the Plus was a top-of-the-shelf device.   At the same time, it’s also very different from the Hypervolt 2. Hyperice wanted to make it clear that the two devices are different. The Pro has some new features that weren’t in the original device (the dial control stands out) but nothing too radical or out of the ordinary.   The Hypervolt 2 Pro comes with 5 attachments – the same thing we saw with the Hypervolt 2 earlier. The difference here that these attachments are not slated gray as that first gun. They are all black.   That aside, we like that you still have a great variety to massage the whole body. There are no surprises here though – it’s the same old set:.   Ball/Round: The universal attachment used to massage all body parts. It works better on large muscle groups.   Flat: This one is a favorite for those with big muscles. If you want harder hits, then this is your go-to attachment.   Fork/Spine: This one is used to massage the spine area. It’s also great for massaging the area around your neck. Athletes love to use it to treat their calves and Achilles.   Cushion: We love this one because it offers a soft option for when you have a tender area to massage. You can also use it on bony areas.   Bullet: Used to treat trigger points, can also be used for foot massage and for plantar fasciitis .   All the attachments here are made of hard material (hard plastic). Hyperice has always used hard plastic for their attachments. Unlike Theragun attachments which are soft. Only the ball here has a little give to it, but it’s plastic as well.   Just for comparison, the ball attachment for Hypervolt Plus was made of foam and was not easy to clean. The cushion head is soft as well but made of plastic as well.   The mechanism for inserting and removing the attachments is “push & pull.” Only the fork head needs to be aligned to prevent it from spinning around when you are using the gun.   We have no complaints against the attachments on the Hypervolt 2 Pro massage gun. The quality is excellent, and the variety is fantastic. We were just wondering whether it would’ve been even better to have a Supersoft attachment like Theragun has for their Pro massage gun .   After all, this is Hyperice’s top gun. We know Theragun owns the rights to the Supersoft attachment, but something unique for Hyperice wouldn’t hurt.   The Hypervolt 2 Pro is about the same size as the original Hypervolt Plus – it measures 8 x 2.5 x 10.4 (inches). It’s noticeably larger than the Hypervolt 2 and the handle looks slightly more extended than Hypervolt Plus’s.   But what about the weight? Remember how we’ve always complained about Hypervolt Plus being the heaviest gun thus far? Well, not anymore, at least it’s not as heavy as it was before.   This new upgrade is a tad lighter than the predecessor weighing just 2.6lbs. We know that sounds better, but it’s not a noticeable difference when you actually compare the two guns. .   The competition has always done it better. Ekrin B37S only weighs 2.2lbs. We’re glad this new device is lighter and well balanced as well. The battery is in the handle. .   We promised to address some things here and now let’s see what we have with this new device.   The Hypervolt 2 Pro handle is now slimmer and has a new shape. We said the same thing with the Hypervolt 2 but that’s because they have a similar shape – pill-shaped. We’d normally call it oval, but pill-shaped is fine as well.   This is something new with Hyperice devices. We know the Hypervolt Plus was cylindrical and so was the original Hypervolt silver device. However, we’ve seen this shape with other massagers we reviewed, like Bob and Brad C2 , Naipo , and Renpho R3 .   We believe this new shape is better than the cylindrical shape, which presented a challenge for people with small hands. The new shape makes the handle thinner and allows for better grip. Did we mention that the handle is rubberized as well? .   But not everything has been addressed even with the reduced weight and a better shaped handle. The overall configuration (T-Shape) of the gun hasn’t been addressed. As we’ve always said, the 90-degree approach isn’t the best, it puts a lot of strain on your wrist and longer massage sessions can be uncomfortable.   We were hoping for a tilted handle like the Hypervolt Go . With the handle tilted, you can have a more natural grip and reach the lower back easily. Ekrin B37S did it well – it’s going to be Hypervolt 2 Pro’s main rival. .   Hyperice has addressed some concerns with this new gun . The weight has been reduced, albeit negligible, and the handle has also been worked on to cater to people with small hands.   However, we were hoping for an even better approach with ergonomics. For instance, make everything as it is but include an angled handle as well. .   In performance, we often look at 3 key aspects: amplitude, stall force, and percussions per minute.   Hypervolt Plus has been, for a while, Hyperice’s most potent massage gun with a near-perfect balance of all these aspects. How good is the upgrade though?   Amplitude.   Also known as the stroke length, this is the distance the massage gun head travels as it percusses. The stroke length determines how deep a massage you can get.   The Hypervolt 2 Pro has a 14mm amplitude.   No, Hyperice still doesn’t disclose information about the amplitude as other brands do. We had to measure it ourselves (as you can see below). The 14mm amplitude is the same thing as the Hypervolt Plus. It’s good enough and can give a deep percussive massage.   Maybe we expected something a bit longer as an upgrade (like Theragun’s 16mm ), but this is still really okay and not vibrational, so we’ll take it.   Stall Force.   Stall force is the amount of pressure needed to stall the motor of a device. This happens when you press the massage gun against your body.   When we reviewed the new Hypervolt 2 , we mentioned how it was very easy to stall it. It was a disappointment and we noted that those who are looking for more stall force should opt for alternatives . We had hoped that this Hypervolt 2 Pro would be better.   As far as the stall force is concerned, the Hypervolt 2 Pro doesn’t feel as powerful as the good old Hypervolt Plus.   Again, we couldn’t get the information about the stall force directly from Hyperice – we had to do our own estimation. We tested it against a bunch of other massage guns and could tell what the stall force on this device is – it’s probably 30lbs. or at most only about 35lbs.   Even at the highest speed it stalls quite easily.  Since this the Hypervolt is expected to rival big guns like Theragun Pro , Achedaway Pro , and Ekrin B37S , with this kind of stall force, we don’t see that happening. .   Well, if you particularly love Hypervolts and can’t do with any other massage gun, then the low stall force shouldn’t be a big issue. If you just float the device over your skin without pressing it against your body, you can still feel the effect. It still hits deep enough with the 14mm amplitude.   The stall force issue will probably not be an issue for new users who haven’t interacted with the previous Hypervolt Plus. The 30-35lbs. of stall force on this device will serve novice users well.   However, for users who were hoping for a Hypervolt Plus upgrade, the stall force on this new Hypervolt 2 Pro might feel like a let-down.   We are glad that there’s been a change here. Finally a Hypervolt that has more than 3 speed levels. The Pro 2 comes with 5 speeds to match the competition from Theragun, Ekrin, and Achedaway.   5th speed – 2700rpm.   You might have noticed how this new device doesn’t rev up to 3200rpm as the previous versions of Hypervolts. It’s 500rpm slower on the highest speed level.   We can’t tell exactly why they went that route. It’s obviously not because of the amplitude, because the previous Hypervolt Plus had the same 14mm stroke length but with 3200 maximum percussions.   We have our own hunches:.   They might have encountered a bottleneck in manufacturing, or changed the manufacturer and this new device couldn’t rev past the 2700rpm – less likely, but maybe?   Or maybe it’s intentional. They elected to have the device feel more punchy than vibrational. With less frequent hits, the device has a strong percussive bass-like impact and not the vibrational hits that have a treble-like impact – a thud! thud! thud! effect rather than a Whirrrrr! effect.   However, what is sure is that even with the 2700 maximum percussions you can still have a nice percussive massage.   What’s more, with the 14mm amplitude, we would expect a device to rev below 3000 rpms. The longer the stroke length, the longer the distance the head travels back and forth, and thus the few percussions per minute. 16mm amplitude Theraguns, rev only up to 2400rpm so it makes sense.   The bottom line here is that with 2700 max. percussions, the device also now feels more punchy than the Hypervolt Plus, and maybe that’s a good thing.   Our Take.   Unfortunately the stall force on this device feels reduced compared to what we already know the Hypervolt Plus had. If you pay attention to stall force, or have already felt the power on the Hypervolt Plus, this device may feel underpowered.   But somehow the 14mm amplitude and the reduced number of percussions for the highest gear have made this gun feel somewhat strong. Certainly in terms of the punches delivered to your skin.   The pressure sensor is still here – we wouldn’t expect anything different.   It’s indicated by 3 LED lights that glow up when pressure is applied. It’s been calibrated to reflect the stall force in this new device – it doesn’t take a lot of pressure for all 3 LEDs to glow up.   Also, they haven’t upgraded the sensor to look sleeker than what was there previously. This feels pretty old and dull if you compare what Theragun and Ekrin have done with their Elite , Pro and B37S devices.   That said, it is there, it is working well and for most users it won’t be the most important feature. You will probably not need the pressure indication to have a decent massage.   Noise.   Noise has never been an issue with Hypervolt devices. The Hypervolt 2 Pro isn’t noisy either. With the 14mm amplitude you expect a bit of noise and some rattling, but it’s not too much.   You can expect 54-55dB on lower speed gears and up to 64-65dB on higher gears.   When we used it, we could still talk and hear each other, and there was no need to raise the TV volume either.   We were surprised to see a Hypervolt with no detachable battery when we reviewed the Hypervolt 2 . We thought Hyperice had put away the detachable battery feature, but turns out it was just for the Hypervolt 2.   We expect this device to serve professionals ( Physios and Chiropractors ) – they need this feature. Plus, this feature further distinguishes the Hypervolt 2 from the Hypervolt 2 Pro.   The battery is a rechargeable lithium-ion 23V. Hyperice says it can last for up to 3 hours with a single charge. We know that is possible, but only if you don’t use higher speeds and apply no or very little pressure. If you do all that, then expect over 2 hours of battery time.   This is okay, because if you use the device only once a day, you can still have some juice in it a few days later.   There’s still no USB-C charging. You’ll still have to use a wall charger. We like the extra international plugs included.   Bluetooth and App.   This Hypervolt 2 Pro review would not be complete without mentioning the connectivity features that have always been a strong selling point for Hyperice.   Yes, this new device is still Bluetooth enabled and you can connect it to the Hyperice app (available on Android or iOS ) for guided routines. The app can take control of the device and help you massage.   We talked in length about the app in our previous reviews and Hypervolt comparisons , and we feel no need to bore you with repetition here.   However, we’ll reiterate that the Hyperice app is a convenient way to learn how to operate the device and see how professional athletes use it.   Hyperice App.   Is Hypervolt 2 Pro Worth it? And Who is it Best For?   We have mixed feelings about this device. The Hypervolt 2 Pro has good ergonomics and punches hard enough to get the job done.   But the drawback is the power. The deep hits and the solid percussions are okay, but it’s relatively easy to stall this gun. The Hypervolt Plus seems like a different gun altogether (perhaps an upgrade of this if the power there is anything to go by). Given the target audience (pro users), it’s a surprising move from Hyperice.   Nevertheless, we are sure Hyperice know what they are doing. We also know that most users, especially new one, will still find the Hypervolt 2 Pro strong enough. After all it is a stronger device than the introductory Hypervolt 2.   We are also certain that Chiropractors and physiotherapists, who use massage guns to help patients relax, will find this device useful as well. Hyperice included a detachable battery for this one.   The old generation devices are still on sale and have that feature as well – but they may not stay on the market for long. .   This is a high quality device from a premium brand that majors in sports recovery. But is it really worth the hefty price tag ? We have our doubts.   If you prefer an aggressive massage and you are kind of a stall force freak (like us), the Hypervolt 2 Pro may not offer the best value for your money. There are more excellent devices that cost much less than $399 but come with better performance specs.   The 1-year warranty is also off-putting and you may want to check out other brands that offer excellent devices backed up with a lifetime warranty – Ekrin is the best alternative thus far.   Comparing the new Hypervolt 2 Pro and old Hypervolt Plus.   Color – both black (Hypervolt 2 Pro with a silver bottom).   Better time on battery (advertised 3 hours vs 2 hours).   Where HV Plus still beats Hypervolt 2 Pro:.   More stall force (est. 45 lbs vs only about estimated 30-35 lbs. in Hypervolt 2 Pro).   In our opinion, the Hypervolt 2 Pro feels more like a refresh than an upgrade. Compared to Hypervolt Plus , not much has been changed.   If you want a Hypervolt with a high amplitude and a revamped body, then go for the Hypervolt 2 Pro . The ergonomics are better, it’s lighter, slimmer, and looks sleek-looking, but that’s it. From a performance standpoint, we’re not convinced it has much to offer over Hypervolt Plus. It boils down to preference. If for some reason Hypervolt Plus gets retired, then it’s a no-brainer.   However, since they’re both on sale, we believe Hypervolt Plus is still a viable choice. To make it even better, Hypervolt Plus now costs $70 less than Hypervolt 2 Pro (check the latest price here ).   Since we do many massage gun reviews , and test many different devices each month, we think we are well positioned to present some viable alternatives. Here are the two Hypervolt 2 Pro rivals that we can wholeheartedly recommend.   This is likely the best alternative to the new Hypervolt 2 Pro.   If you prefer a device with more power, this one has plenty of it. Whereas the new Hypervolt Pro2 feels like a proper ergonomic massage gun (thinner, reshaped rubberized handle), Ekrin B37S proposes something even better.   The handle is angled to provide a more natural and firm grip, allowing for longer sessions. The T-shape configuration on Hypervolt 2 Pro fatigues the wrist. Ekrin B37S is also slightly lighter, weighing just 2.2lbs.   Ekrin B37S.   In terms of power, which is where the B37S beats Hypervolt 2 Pro hands down, there’s plenty here. There’s up to 56lbs. of stall force on the highest gear – even the lower gears will be hard to stall.   This is why even though it only has a 12mm amplitude, it can still penetrate deep into large muscles. You can press it hard against the skin and it won’t stall as easily as Hypervolt 2 Pro.   Ekrin B37S has more maximum percussions as well. The range is 2000-3200rpm. There are 5 speed gears – the 5th speed is dynamic, allowing automatic intensity change. The Pressure Sensor on the B37S is, in our opinion, better executed than what is on Hypervolt 2 Pro. .   The battery is non-detachable, yes, but it has way more juice than what Hypervolt 2 Pro has. It’s also a quality Samsung battery. The B37S will also be quieter because of the lower amplitude. It also comes with 5 attachments and a carrying case. You can expect excellent build material.   It normally sells at $329 but you can buy it for just $263 if you use the coupon MGA20, which gives you a 20% discount. So you save $136 by choosing this one over Hypervolt 2 Pro.   About $100 less than Hypervolt 2 Pro.   An even more powerful alternative. Achedaway Pro has a high amplitude and high stall force. A perfect combination for those who want an aggressive massage.   It comes with a 16mm amplitude – Theragun-like. That’s 2mm more than Hypervolt 2 Pro and definitely 2mm of deeper and better hits. The advertised stall force is 80lbs. but we believe it’s somewhere in the mid-50s like Ekrin B37S.   Even so, it’s still significantly harder to stall than Hypervolt 2 Pro. Even with all that, it can be more intensive with up to 2800 maximum percussions – 100rpm more than Hypervolt 2 Pro. It comes with 5 speed gears as well.   You get a carrying case with Achedaway Pro – Hypervolt (still) comes without one.   Ergonomics are somewhat the same as B37S, with the slanted handle.   The overall weight is 2.6lbs – similar to Hypervolt 2 Pro. It comes with 4 attachments that are nicely done – 2 are made of aluminum.   The battery has a capacity of 3200mAh, and can last for 2-4 hours on a single charge. The battery is removable too, and there’s an option to buy the device with a spare one . This makes it an excellent pick for professionals.   Usually you’d have to pay $299 to get this device, but with our MGA50 coupon, you can get a $50 discount. That makes it $249 – or $319 if you buy it with the spare battery. Still much cheaper than Hypervolt 2 Pro. Get it right here .   As we close this Hypervolt 2 Pro review, there are a few key points to note with this new Hypervolt.   In our opinion, this feels more like a refresh than an upgrade of the previous Hypervolt Plus. Some new features like improved ergonomics, reduced weight, and new controls, but nothing more to suggest a serious upgrade.   In terms of performance, this new device doesn’t deliver more than the predecessor – in fact, it’s easier to stall.   Pro athletes or physiotherapists who are looking to buy a Hypervolt will face a bit of a conundrum about whether to choose the Pro 2 or the good old Hypervolt Plus (still on sale at a reduced price). When Hyperice retires Hypervolt Plus, then this new device will be the strongest Hypervolt.   Either way, the value for money isn’t great. We believe there are better products that offer more for less if you can live without the Hypervolt badge (and the Bluetooth connectivity).   Summary.   Hypervolt 2 Pro is a high quality product from a premium brand, featuring an improved ergonomics and a refreshing new take on controls. The amplitude is great for a deep tissue massage but the stall force feels just not good enough for us. Overall, it is a decent percussive device but in our opinion, it doesn’t offer the best value for money for those who want a stronger massage.   Luke.   Luke is a Biomedical Engineer, an entrepreneur and an avid sportsman. What we think.   Recover like the pros with Hypervolt’s top of the line massage gun. Now with 30% more power than the original, this percussion massage is the most powerful gun you can find. If it’s good enough for the NBA, imagine what it can do for your training and recovery! .   Introducing Hypervolt 2 Pro.   … an ultra-premium percussion massage gun that’s seriously strong, remarkably quiet, AND able to work out your pain with the precision and power of a professional deep tissue massage… anytime you need it and with additional tips included!   Hypervolt 2 Pro is one of the most powerful massage guns — 90 watts — on the market and hands down has one of the fastest speed settings — topping out at a bonkers 3,200 ppm. This is CRAZY fast — by comparison,  Theragun Pro  maxes out at 2,400 ppm. This level of speed and power is impressive and this gun is designed for pro level and elite athletes that beat their body up on a regular basis! . .   Delivers over 180 minutes (3 hours) of use before the battery dies. While this battery life is comparable to other guns in its class, Hypervolt is unique in that its percussive power isn’t weakened when the battery is at less than half charged. In contrast, other similar devices usually need to be recharged when their battery life is around 50% because they lose too much power and can’t operate at full capacity at that point. In our experience, Hypervolt stays strong until the charge is almost gone, which is pretty convenient! . .   A super helpful feature of the Hypervolt is its digital indicator sensor technology that has three different levels and shows you how much pressure you’re applying at any given time. This makes it easy to stay within recommended pressure levels during self-massage and also comes in handy when using the gun on others so that you can maintain the correct pressure. .   Did you hear that? Neither did I.   One of the biggest complaints about the less premium brands of massage guns is how LOUD they are. Hypervolt massage guns are so quiet they won’t even wake the baby… or tick off the neighbors. In fact, they barely make a sound. . .   Hypervolt has recently partnered with the NBA who provides Hyperice devices courtside for players to maximize performance and recovery. While this is obviously a promotional deal, it’s still a major endorsement and speaks to the quality of the device. .   5-speeds – up to 3200 percussions per minute.   ? Why a massage gun? Did you know that percussion massage is proven to help you warm up and recover like a pro? Percussion massage helps get your blood circulating to your muscles, has been clinically proven to help  reduce DOMS  (delayed onset muscle soreness) for a faster recovery, and helps manage and even heal chronic pain from soft tissue injuries and an aging/overworked body… .   While athletes can obviously benefit hugely from these devices, the Hypervolt feels so amazing that everyone in the whole family is sure to want a turn… The real question is, are you willing to share?? .   ? But, it’s pretty expensive — is it really worth it? .   Short answer: If you’re a fan of massages — a resounding YES .   Long answer: Even though premium massage guns like Hypervice are a decent upfront investment, they literally pay for themselves after just a few uses when compared to getting a professional manual massage. At a conservative estimate of $100 an hour for a deep tissue massage, the Hypervolt will pay for itself after just aprox 3 hours of use,  For athletes that train hard and recovery harder, it’s pretty much a no-brainer. .   ? Aren’t their cheaper ones on Amazon? .   The top two massage gun brands are Hypervolt and Theragun (we carry both). These are the two brands known for their premium quality. Most other guns out there are ‘knock-offs’. They break, are loud, have way less power, etc. etc. Guns that you buy from Amazon, even if they have the Hyperice brand name, may still be knock-offs or,  at the very least, returns or overstock etc. Hyperice does NOT sell their own merch on Amazon. This also means if you buy from Amazon you will NOT get your warranty and have a good possibility of buying a defect or knock-off. Great product.   The Hypervolt 2 works great for me. The handle is easy for me to hold onto and I can reach the back of my shoulders. Good.   The price is a little too high, but the item works good and is very light weight which helps to travel everywhere with it.   Great, light weight, powerful pulse and good battery life.   Donnie’s Opinion.   We have the original and recently bought the Hyperice 2. My wife found the original too heavy to maneuver at 2.5lbs – the Go 2 is much lighter, and she uses this one more frequently now. Both perform . . .

I like the optional charging base too; easy to use.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one item that I didn’t know I needed. I suffer from neck and back pain and my wife tried her best to massage me. This hypervolt is hitting places and giving pressure that she couldnt reach. Such an amazing buy for athletes and people with active jobs. Great quality and amazing features.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hypervolt 2 seems to be a great tool for general massage. It feels amazing working on sore muscles! My husband has neck and arm pain and has muscle knots in neck which dissolved after using Hypervolt2. Its great for general massage and much better than other massage guns that we have used.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had a Thera gun and this one is pretty similar in quality and function! I am a runner and use it all the time for my IT band. It works great and has a couple of additional heads that work on it depending on what you need.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my sweet lanta! I am in love with the muscle relief that I have been able to get from the hypervolt! The different attachments that it comes with make it easier to get other spots. My husband and I take turns using it on each other almost nightly to help unwind!   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how well this really helps your muscles, it definitely helped loosen my muscles and relax me more. It’s a little heavy but not too much that you can’t hold on to it. The low setting is still really fast and you have to be careful not to touch the bone with it or it will hurt. I like the different tips you can use for the end also.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Hypervolt 2 from Hyperice. Very lightweight. It has three different speeds. Five different head attachments. I’m able to connect it to Bluetooth via the Hyperice app for automated speed control. Very happy with this product and the muscle relaxing end results.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I really enjoy using this Hypervolt 2 massage gun. As a work at home mom I’m always tense and stressed and love the relaxing massage this gun provides. With the three speed options I can massage any tight muscle and get relief. I like the sleek design that’s light weight but still tough enough for the job. The variety of attachments is perfect for everyone to use. My husband enjoys relaxing to a massage on his lower back. Works great so far and have used it around 7 times without recharging.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I’m loving this Hyperice Hypervolt 2. It’s really lightweight which makes it easy to maneuver around. The handle has a rubber grip, so it’s easy to hold onto without it slipping. It’s somewhat quiet, but a little disruptive if I’m in the living room using it while someone else is watching TV. The attachments have a zippered pouch for storing, but I wish the entire unit came with a case for storage to keep everything together. There is a color changing strip for the battery indictor at the bottom of the handle so you have a general idea of how charged the battery is. I do wish it had a digital display with a battery percentage instead, but not a big deal. There are 3 levels of intensity, but I only used level 1. The higher levels were too much for me. There are 5 different attachment heads which you easily pull on/off to change. The “Cushion” attachment was my favorite. The “Bullet” and “Fork” were a little uncomfortable for me and I don’t see myself using them.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolute game-changer for anyone who gets random aches and pains (both from working out and just getting older). Love all the different attachments + speeds. My husband and I use this nearly every day.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a famous hyperice hypervolt 2 device and gladly ready to review it and give my humble opinion. I might be in minority on this but I don’t appreciate the massive power of the device. It is highlighted as an advantage but for my family it isn’t. Device is way too powerful for our needs. My husband highlighted that device is giving a strong vibration feedback into your hand kind of like a hammerdrill not a pleasant feel to be honest. The percussion force got to come out of the attachment and not of the handle. Also I personally need a half of the power of the lowest setting. There isn’t an option like that unfortunately. Device has a nice option of app that connects via Bluetooth to the device to give you guided exercise routines. Nevertheless I really appreciate having this device since it really helps to relax the tight muscles. I think this device will fit more for a strong men who can easily hold it(its heavy) and will appreciate a really strong motor power.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children are athletes and I personally experience shoulder and neck pain through working at a desk all day long so this is the absolute perfect device for us. There are many different attachments that serve different purposes. This also relieves any tension through the deep tissue massage. It’s a great product and I have been feeling much more relieved since using the Hypervolt.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At my age, muscle aches are becoming more and more of a problem. This massager has done wonders for my body. With the various attachements and power settings, it’s the perfect tool to get the job done! Highly recommended!   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shocked at the power behind the Hypervolt 2! I cannot imagine an ache or pain it will not assist in relieving. The massage device comes with a nice pouch to store the 5 head attachments that correspond to various areas of the body. It is nice that there are 3 different plug-in adapters for travel. The initial charge did not take long at all before the indicator light showed green. I like that the light ring at the bottom of the handle indicates when the device is on and the level of power (green-yellow-red), so I do not waste battery life by unintentionally leaving it on. I found the battery life to be approximately 3 hours, and the recharging time about the same. For the solid quality of the device (it feels well designed and built), it is considered lightweight compared to other tools with this level of power. I had no difficulty holding and maneuvering it with one hand. I have recurring pain in my neck and knee, and the cushion head attachment gets right at those areas for relief. I do not have to press the device into my skin, as even the lowest power setting provides enough oomf to break through the tension in my muscles. This has been a life saver post-workout to prevent muscle tightening and soreness. I found myself feeling relief in past problem-areas after only a handful of sessions. I was also pleased with the ease of use. There are guides to help you, but I found using the included cue card that describes the appropriate head attachment for each body part and focusing on those areas was easy to do. The head attachments snap on and off without difficulty. I am neutral on the noise level. It is advertised as almost silent, which I did not find to be the case, but I would not classify it as noisy either. Once I have been using it for a few minutes, I do not notice the noise and can watch television while massaging. I wish there were more button options to quickly access various power settings and on/of functions rather than pushing the same button multiple times.   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This massager does a great job with deep tissue massage. It gives a massage that you can really feel – you won’t be left wondering if anything is really happening. It is important to use this on areas with muscle and padding – it isn’t meant for bonier areas and doesn’t feel good in those areas! If you’re looking for something to really go deep on your muscles and help loosen things up, this is for you!   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally invested in this hypervolt. It was the BEST decision i’ve made. My husband and i both use this every day to iron out sore muscles. It is absolutely worth the cost. It has 3 settings for strength which is really nice!   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve previously tried a lesser quality massage gun and I have to say, this one leaves it in the dust! I’ma long distance runner and I do military style workouts most mornings. I definitely get sore and tight muscles. This Hypervolt 2 is amazing! My wife also loves it for her plantar fasciitis and back pain! I highly recommend!!   originally posted on Hyperice.   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a must own for anyone that is physically active, suffers from muscle tightness, or just needs muscle relief in general. 3 different speeds is a great feature, some people may need speed 3 for relief while others get relief with just speed 1. The many attachments is also a plus, so that you can target different muscles. This product is high quality and looks like it can hold up for a long time. I am extremely satisfied with it and will be recommending it to all my friends and family.   About Target Careers News & Blog Target Brands Bullseye Shop Target’s Coronavirus Response Sustainability & ESG Press Center Advertise with Us Investors Affiliates & Partners Suppliers TargetPlus.   Target Circle RedCard Target App Registry Same Day Delivery Order Pickup Drive Up Free 2-Day Shipping Shipping & Delivery More Services.   Pinterest Facebook Instagram Twitter Youtube Tiktok Terms CA Supply Chain Privacy CA Privacy Rights Do Not Sell My Personal Information Interest Based Ads.
